No 'Bling' Necessary...Just Power & Performance Please!

This Dyno-Comp client received the best of both worlds with his 2008 Escalade, sporting the new 6.2L engine. BIG power gains, enhanced driveability and improved fuel economy on a 6.2L Escalade? Yeah, you guessed it! When it comes to tuning, Dyno-Comp does not stop there!

The freshly installed Cadillac Escalade/Dyno-Comp Stage-3 package included the following:
  • Volant Cold Air Intake System
  • Corsa Sport Exhaust System
  • Dyno-Comp CUSTOM ECU Tuning
We do not use your typical, off the shelf programmers like Superchips and Diablosport. Simply put, there are too many tuning parameters that these generic programmers miss out on. Dyno-Comp actually custom tunes each car, addressing unique ecu parameters. One such example, is “transmission torque management”. With today's electronic “throttle by wire”, manufacturers can limit the throttle open angle, despite how hard you hit the gas pedal! Most of the time, when you're below 3000 RPM, you may only experience a 70-80% throttle, which reduces low end power and response. This may also hold true for the upper RPM range.

Dyno-Comp custom ECU tuning allows 100% throttle opening, 100% of the time! This vastley improves low end torque and horsepower. Couple this with a high flow Corsa exhaust system and a Volant air intake system to allow this 6.2L big boy to breath, resulting in astonishing gains, as illustrated in the above chart and below.
