A DYNO-COMP CUSTOMER FOR LIFE

A note from Dyno-Comp customer Mike Hooley-who recently had his Mercedes AMG C55 built at Dyno-Comp...

Why I'm a customer for life.

As some of you may know, Dyno-Comp Built me an AMG supercharged C55 Mercedes, It was a big undertaking to say the least. With our first blower being damaged in shipping, to overcoming challenges on an install that has no installation directions, the job was big! Richard and his team worked through many obstacles on an Engineering level to make the car come to life. From rerouting emissions equipment to total one-off fabrications. Not to mention the ingenius design of the Flow dynamics of the supercharger cooling system.

It goes beyond that though-after the car was delivered to me, I was heading out to the race track for my own R&D. I dropped the car of at Dyno-Comp so Richard and his team could make sure all parameters were ready for a night of racing. On my way to the track, I noticed a slight sputtering in the engine, fearing the worst, thinking that I broke an axle or blown the transmission, I turned around and limped home. I called Richard on his personal cell phone and told him what happened and the symptoms. Rich told me he was coming over, I told him I live 30 miles away from him. I even told time him "It could wait until another day." Before I could talk him out of it at 9pm on a Friday night, he was on the road to the West Valley to personally fix the problem.

When Rich arrived he came with a box full of tools, computers and other instruments to trouble shoot the problem. He hopped in my car and took it for a drive. He was no more than 100 yards down the road when he turned around and pulled the car back into my driveway. "You have a faulty spark plug coil", Richard said. He popped the hood and checked the coil packs and that fast my 450whp Mercedes was fixed. I had a slightly loose wire.

I've taken automotive schooling all though high school (seems like a long, long time ago) and not to brag, I was the automotive student of the year, two years in a row. What I was not able to put my finger on, Richard was able to fix in 30 seconds...in my driveway! Rich told me "Go racing, you are good to go."

Being able to find a Company that stands by their work and will go above and beyond what you expect is very rare these days. What Richard, the owner of Dyno-Comp did for me goes above and beyond my expectations. To travel at 9pm just to check out a problem is a true testament to the service you get at Dyno-Comp. I have lifetime roadside assistance from Mercedes and they could not have gotten to me faster.

Dyno-Comp knows me well and they know I wear a hat all the time. This time my hat is off to you.

P.S. Thanks for the full second off my 1/4 mile time too!
