
ADDING HP WITHOUT THE BOOST!
Yes indeed...there's a substantial amount of room left in the ZR1 without bumping up the boost.
MODIFICATIONS:
BASELINE dyno test (STOCK):
504 Wheel HP: This equates to approx 630 factory rated flywheel HP @ 6600 RPM
490 Wheel TQ: This equates to approx 618 factory rated flywheel TQ @ 6600 RPM
RESULTS:
625 Wheel HP: This equates to approx 781 flywheel HP @ 7300 RPM
598 Wheel TQ: This equates to approx 697 peak flywheel TQ @ 4500 RPM
In flywheel rated HP gains, this equates to:
(+151 HP)
(+108 TQ)
Bone stock we were able to achieve ¼ mile times of 11.6 @ 126 mph, on street tires.
Next event we plan on some running on drag radials. With another 150+ HP on tap, this Dyno-Comp ZR1 should be good for mid 10 seconds!!!!
