Dyno-Comp, in conjunction with Lingenfelter, came up with a combination of mods that are so fresh- even Lingenfelter is still in development with them. So how do you take a 630 HP ZR1 and turn it into THE most powerful ZR1 on planet earth? Let's dig into the details below...
Mods:
Results: Lets put this into perspective
BEFORE (stock):
Stock: 510 Wheel HP = 630 Flywheel HP (factory rated) This seems to be right on the nose since our dyno has a 25% power-train loss to the wheels. So 510 X 1.25 = 637 flywheel HP
AFTER (Dyno-Comp Built and Tuned):
Now: 693 Wheel HP = 866 Flywheel HP. With 25% power-train loss to the wheels. 693 X 1.25 = 866 flywheel HP.
TORQUE:
And for the best part...as Carroll Shelby once said, “Torque IS King”
Now: 682 Wheel TQ = 852 Flywheel at between 3500-4000 RPM
above video shows this car in January putting down 781 horse, creating quite a stir in the YouTube world...go ahead and picture this ZR1 rolling 865 horse...stay tuned!
